Called in to see the owners after seeing they could possibly be seeking a skilled mechanic on indeed ,after relocating in the berkshire area but unfortunately there wasn't a position available, the owner has however passed my details on to someone in the area who he says is looking for someone, seem warm welcoming people and would like to thank you once again for taking the time out to help fellow mechanics

My family and I have been using MOT City for all our cars MOT’s, services and repairs for approximately 20 years. Any prospective work done is preceded by a phone call to explain in detail what needs to be done and why and any costs outlined in detail. All technicians, receptionists and engineers are polite and courteous as well as knowledgeable. As a single female, it’s important to me to feel that I’m being given an honest price alongside exceptionally high standards of work from a family run business that I can trust. I needed my wheel bearing replaced as it was making a horrible noise. I went to another garage but they were unable to fit me until next week!! I called MOT City to see when they could fit me in, which they did the next day. All of their staff are very friendly and the team sorted out my problem and my car is now sounding normal again. Sean was an absolute life saver for me, today! I went in to this garage this afternoon, after desperately seeking some help to reattach my gearstick top! They were helpful, friendly and advised me on my options. I waited on-site for about half an hour while they sorted it, there and then. No fee for their time either! Lovely family run business who sorted my MOT today, great service, spotless workshop along with friendly staff and owner... You get nothing for free these days but the chap doing my MOT adjusted my headlights as a 2 min job.. this would have a telephone number cost at a dealer...outstanding service!

Today MOT City were really able to help me out. Called on a Monday morning after warning lights coming on the Sunday, and my usual garage were rude and unhelpful. They had to call me back after checking the diary and asked me to bring my car down for a diagnostic, and were clear about costs. Made it clear they couldn't promise when in the day my car would be done, but about an hour after dropping it in I was called with the problem, a quote, and a promise to do it today. They were helpful, and clear about costs which is unusual for this industry and this time. Would recommend to others. Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brake service & repair

I took my Mercedes Citan Van there this week as the break pads were starting to make noise metal on metal, I need it to get it fixed quick as I wouldn't be able to drive the van for work any longer. I took there based on the reviews I read online, I normally don't write reviews, but I'm so happy with the experience I'm here to give a 5 start service for MOT City. I arrived about 3.30pm, there were very busy and said they would only have time in the following week, but in the end they managed to get it fix in the same day by 6pm. Great customer service, great mechanics and most importantly trustworthy. I left my van there with no worries that they would charge me with something I didn't need, as it happens all the time in loads of garages everywhere. Nothing more important than having a mechanic you can trust. I'm new in the city, but MOT City has now 2 new customers, me and my wife.

My first experience of MOT City - 3 occasions in a short time. Very impressed with efficiency and general tidiness. In spite of not liking dealing with Warranty work, engaged with Warranty company for me. Very impressed so far.

I cannot speak more highly of MOT City, they liaised with the local MOT garage down the road for me to communicate that the relevant repairs had been completed which enabled me to get my car turned around and sent back to be re-tested virtually on the same day. They went above and beyond to fit me in whilst they had a busy schedule and the service and communication was top notch- I would highly recommend. Service: Brakes
